The new book introduced the finite strip/finite element/finite segment method to treat box girder sections, which provide a modern treatment of this subject, and is kind of unified theory.

I found an alternative to this book: Shao Xu Dong's bridge engineering and bridge analysis and design. It treated the subject into separated topics and solutions.
