Once again we have some important information about DIALux.
DIALux 4.4.0.2
The new version of DIALux is available immediately as a download. You will find an exact list of the modifications in the different versions under the rubric DIALux - Service ? Version history http://www.dial.de/CMS/English/Articles/DIALux/Download/Versionshistorie.html?ID=63
Here are the most important points concerning the 4.4.0.1 und 4.4.0.2 versions:
Projects created using DIALux 4.4.0.0 used to cause problems when loading with the improved DIALux 4.4.0.1 version. This fault has now been remedied.
The import of all characters for DXF or DWG files is now possible through the inclusion of Unicode.
Any grid can be set for the output/printout. Even though the illuminance distribution is symmetrical, the display may be unsymmetrical if the grid is too small. Additional functionalities now prevent this problem.
When importing an ACIS SAT model, DIALux sometimes crashed when invalid material attributes were placed on the surfaces. This can now be prevented and the user must, if necessary, select the material once again in DIALux.
Optimization of the import and improved handling when positioning objects.
In the Swedish version the 搊pen file...?dialogue has been corrected.
