And nearly 400 million square meters of energy-saving houses have been built. 30,000 clay & brick enterprises have been closed or reformed. All these efforts have resulted in the reduction of harmful gases emission, such as sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide, making a great contribution to the development of recycle economy.

In recent years, the Chinese government has set the "building a resource-efficient society" as its basic state policy. Premier Wen Jiabao has made important instructions on the wall materials reform on many occasions. And the State Council has issued the "Notice on the further promotion of wall materials renovation and energy-saving buildings".
To further speed up the renovation process of wall materials and energy-saving buildings, and to review tremendous achievements in wall material renovation, under the support of National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Land and Resources, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Agriculture, Beijing Municipal government, approved by Ministry of Commerce, co-sponsored by China’s Building Materials Industry Association and China National Building Material Exhibition &Trade Centre, "China International New Wall Material & Facility Exhibition” (hereinafter referred to as ‘Wall Exhibition’) will be held on sep. 24th this year in Beijing.
With “displaying wall material renovation achievements, underlining the fruits of energy-saving buildings, inspiring the spirit of wall materials industry, and discussing over the development of wall material" as its theme, the “wall material Exhibition” will attract the attention of the four Ministries, provincial and municipal authorities and outstanding enterprises with advanced wall material renovation technology, as well as well-known wall material manufacturers, equipment suppliers, raw material suppliers, home and abroad, design & research institutions, and consumers. We will set up a platform for the wall material industry to exchange policies, products, technology, and facilities; a platform to promote the development of wall material business between China and the world; and an international arena for China wall material industry to display their achievements and development prospects to the society and market.
Under the full support of governments at all levels, with the active participation of both wall materials management departments and outstanding enterprises, we believe, this “wall material exhibition” is bound to become a grand industry meeting to make achievements exchange and carry on discussions on further development plans.
