The candidate will be located in Shanghai. The individual will report to the GEC Leader (1-Level), and DW&PS Greater China Commercial Director (2nd-Level).
We are seeking to fill this position by start-August 2010.


Primary Responsibilities
• Expert UF technical and engineering resource of the Global Engineering Center team which includes design and after sales functions. Scope of services includes process/mechanical design & engineering, project management, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical training & presentations to internal & external stakeholders.
• Provide technical knowledge and engineering best practices through the DW&PS organization and to our customers.
• Plan and monitor project schedules and execution within time, budget, and quality expectations.
• Ensure timely and technically-sound responses to Requests for Proposals from the sales organization, and ensure that documentation meets World-class standards.
• Develop sales tools and project deliverables such as O&M manuals, case histories, data sheets, and presentations.
• Provide feedback to Applications Development, Research & Development, and Marketing teams for product improvement and development opportunities.
• Interface with Omex Environmental teams for process engineering and skid/system design.

Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience in Ultrafiltration or Microfiltration system design & engineering. Experience with MBR, EDI, RO, and/or IX will be of additional benefit.
• Teamwork and good communication skills are essential due to globally-aligned business and culturally-diverse work environment.
• Experience in overseas assignments will be preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD packages.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English, oral and written.
